Alterior Motif accepts returns for refund, exchange or credit note if your return request meets the criteria outlined below. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, unwashed, unaltered, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order confirmation or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a return authorisation number (RA#). If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a RA# and return instructions. Items sent back to us without first requesting a RA# will not be accepted. Alterior Motif has a 7-day return policy. All returns must be requested and posted back within 7 days of receiving your item.
Alterior Motif reserves the right to refuse a return if the returns criteria is not met. Returns must be posted back at the customer’s expense and this cost is non-refundable. Alterior Motif cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged returns so we recommend using a traceable form of shipping.
Sale items and items purchased during a promotion cannot be returned. This excludes orders placed with our welcome offer code. For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns for pierced jewellery, swimwear, intimates or hats.
If you would like to exchange an item, we recommend you make a separate purchase for the new item once your return has been authorised. Alternatively, you can request your preferred exchanged item when requesting a return with us. Additional postage costs may apply.
If your return is approved, you’ll be refunded back to your original payment method. Please note that refunds do not include any postage costs from your order. The item/s price will be refunded only. Please also note it can take a few business days for the refund balance to clear into your nominated bank account or payment method.
Credit notes will be issued as an online code valid for the Alterior Motif website. If your return is approved, we will send you your online code via email. Online credit notes are strictly for online use only and are valid for three years.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Please contact us immediately if the item you receive is faulty, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Faulty or damaged items will be inspected before a refund or replacement is given. Incorrect items received will be rectified immediately by refund or replacement.
