Sustainably made since 2006, Bassike was established by Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan. The Bassike philosophy centers around high-end design & construction with a commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Bassike have developed a certified and sustainable cotton which is made in Melbourne and used for the majority of their garments. Their organic cotton is biodegradable and produced with zero waste. Bassike also use naturally sustainable linen and ethically and sustainably sourced wool and cashmere. Their denim is handmade in Japan, dyed with natural indigo and washed with recycled water.
